Demo4Green aims at spreading the demonstration of technologies, that reduce the carbon footprint of industry, in existing high technology infrastructures of RIS countries.
Green Manufacturing concept
The Green Manufacturing concept is one of the policy areas of the European Green Deal https://ec.europa.eu/info/strategy/priorities-2019-2024/european-green-deal_en. The main objective of the European Green Deal is to achieve climate neutrality by 2050 and the transformation of production systems into circular systems is essential to achieve this goal. That needs involvement of both solution providers and market technology adopters.
What will we do?
Demo4Green will strive to achieve the assumed goal with the participation of different members of the innovation ecosystem - technology and manufacturing companies, RTOs and Universities and following the concept ‘test before invest’.
There will be training module created on how to implement a demonstrator in a Teaching and Learning Factory (TLF), then the demonstrators to be implemented in the TLFs will be selected.
Finally technological companies will be offered coaching to help bring their green technologies to the market.
About our consortium
The project consortium consists of eight partners – all of them are research institutes or business organisations, having high technology infrastructures and being active players in R&D with technology and industrial companies.
During the kick-off meeting the Consortium had an opportunity to meet each other and establish the best working methods for the project year.
